Dear Janet and Bill,

I was so pleased to get your letter. I learned about Stix at the Medieval Fair in my hometown of Sarasota Florida a little over a year ago and happened to pick up your newsletter there. It somehow made it over here with me and I'm really glad I found it.

I am deploying to South West Asia for an exercise in August and I will be bringing my Stix with me. I'm getting a little better and the video has helped me find my own "bubble." I have sparked the interest of some of the soldiers while "stixing" in my orderly room. It is still such a relaxing activity for me.

I've enclosed a photo of me with my Stix. I hope you'll send me a copy of your newsletter. I think I'll enclose another order for some more Stix for myself and my First Sergeant. Thanks again for the letter and the new hobby.
